How do I register for events?
- There is one, and only one, way to register online for events: through the registration page at http://www.pmi-ssc.org/registration.shtml.
- Online registration will close at Noon on the day before the event. Those who have not registered online by that time will not be eligible for the reduced online registration price.
- Walk-in registrations are acceptable, but we would prefer, for planning purposes, that individuals register online.
- If online registration is closed, we would ask, as a matter of courtesy, that you send an email message to the Event Registration Team at registration@pmi-ssc.org, notifying us of your plans to attend the event.
I think I registered, but Im not sure. What should I do?
- Register again! If you think you might have registered but are not sure, register again by filling out the online form at http://www.pmi-ssc.org/registration.shtml. We can reconcile duplicate registrations with no difficulty, and will count you only once, using your most recent registration.
How do I cancel a registration?
- If you have registered online and are unable to come, please notify the Event Registration Team at registration@pmi-ssc.org before Noon on the day before the event, to give us time to plan accordingly.
- If youve registered and paid, and wish to cancel, please also request a refund when you contact us.
- Important note: If youve registered but are unable to come, and fail to cancel your registration (by Noon on the day before the event), please understand that you are placing our plans at risk, because we are including you in the meal count.
How much does it cost to attend a monthly meeting, and how do I pay?
- Cost of monthly chapter events is $35 per person for those who pay in advance (through PayPal or by check in the mail), or $40 (cash or check) for those who pay at the door.
- Credit card payments may be made through PayPal, but not at the door. The only payment accepted at the door is cash or check.

- YES! In order to qualify for the reduced price of $35, individuals must register online (at http://www.pmi-ssc.org/registration.shtml) and pay in advance.
- Individuals who register online but do not pay in advance will be charged $40 at the door.
What if I only come for the presentation: Do I still have to pay, and if so, how much?
- YES! All attendees must pay, Silver Spring Chapter members included, even if they come only for the presentation.
- Those who come only for the presentation pay the same price as those who come for dinner and the presentation.
What if Ive paid and cant come: How do I get a refund?
- Refunds will be given only if a cancellation and refund request is sent to the Event Registration Team at registration@pmi-ssc.org before Noon on the day before the event. Cancellations received after that time will not be eligible for refunds.
- Unless you indicate otherwise, if you ask for a refund, well assume youre cancelling your registration as well.
- Please note: if you have paid but cannot come, please do not ask us to hold the funds for future use. Instead, please request a refund, by notifying the Event Registration Team at registration@pmi-ssc.org, as indicated, before Noon on the day before the event, and we will process a refund accordingly.
- If a refund request is received after that time, we will not, unfortunately, be able to honor it.
How many PDUs do I get?
- Attendance at monthly chapter meetings is worth 1.5 PDUs.
