The Silver Spring Chapter of PMI is proud to announce a new PMP Prep Course, to be held on four successive Saturdays in the fall: September 29, October 6, 13, 20 (2007), at DeVry University in Bethesda, Maryland (in the Air Rights Building).

DeVry University Address:

    4550 Montgomery Avenue
    Suite 100 North
    Bethesda, MD 20814-3304

Metro: Bethesda - about two blocks away.

The DeVry facility is located on the first floor of the building. Free parking is available under the Air Rights building, as well as in the parking garage across the street. Click image below for an interactive Google map of the area:

Cost of the course is $450 for members of the PMI Silver Spring Chapter, $495 for all others. PMI membership is not required in order to take the course, but space is limited, and priority will therefore be given to members of the PMI Silver Spring Chapter, followed by members of PMI who are not Silver Spring Chapter members.

Students: Plan to arrive at 8:00 am every day to sign in! Classes will end at 5:00 pm on each of the four Saturdays. Schedule your time accordingly!

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Why you should take this course: The PMP Prep Course is designed to provide participants with a review of key exam topics and exam preparation methods. Those wishing to attend the classes should already have a background in project management fundamentals. The classes are not geared toward teaching project management, but are primarily intended to prepare students for the PMP exam.

Classes will be held during the morning and afternoon, and will last 8 hours per day, for a total of 32 hours of instruction. Our core PMP Prep team, under the capable leadership of John Cappelletti, has been diligently preparing materials for the course, and Prem Gada, our VP of Education, is planning out details for course delivery.
