Decision Analysis: put the odds in your favor
Decision Analysis has been a powerful tool in corporate America for the past 30 years, but only recently has begun to "cross the chasm," i.e., move from the hands of a few, highly trained individuals to the toolbox of many guiding project teams. In this interactive discussion, we'll review a simple framework to define decision problems and facilitate the efficient use of scenarios to arrive at a clear choice using a few relevant case examples.
Stuart Harris has 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ten of which was as head of the Decision Sciences Department at GlaxoSmithKline. He currently works with Decision Frameworks, Inc. to develop framing and practical decision analysis skills to large and small pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and energy companies world-wide. Stuart received his PhD from the Wharton School of Business in Decision Sciences and Strategic Planning and is based in Washington D.C.
